I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 8th December 2025 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF                          starting at 7 pm.    Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item.  There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.   
 
AGENDA
 
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40. 
 
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.   Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
 
3. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 10th November 2025 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (DG)
 
4. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments and receipts made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached Appendix A
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet (LF) Attached Appendix B
c. Approve the bank reconciliation as at 30.11.25 (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances.  (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet at 30.11.25 (LF) Attached.
f. Retrospective resolution to Minute the income (£2,888) and expenditure (£62,888)  figures used for the current year’s precept calculation (as advised by the Internal Auditor).
g. Discussion and Resolution for the precept figure for 2026-7.  Income £2,269 and expenditure £60,549 – RFO’s recommendation to retain precept at £60,000.
 
5. Planning Applications:   
    
25/0932 – 28 No dwellings at land off Sycamore Road – pending consideration.
25/1278 – Extensions at 2 The Willows – approved.
6. Report on all road safety and highways matters (SD).    
7. Hedge at end of Bowls Green: report by Clerk and resolution as to way forward.
8. Defibrillators – New child pads now installed at Byards Leap defib. Next Fulbeck PC meeting not until 15th January to get a response about sharing cost of maintenance.
9. Village Hall and Social Club – awaiting comments on survey from VH/SC.  
10. The Old School – quotes for roof repairs per survey: £1400 + VAT (Lincs Property Maintenance).
11. Garages – all 3 garages are in our ownership.  All used by other organisations at nil rent.  Resolution that this should or should not carry on.  Responsibility for repairs?
12. Sound equipment – discussion and resolution as to whether to donate to the Church.
 
13. Play area and playing field: update on quotes for new equipment.  Info re zipwire insurance and grants information.   
   Remove a tennis net and discuss installation of new ones in March.
14. To receive reports from Councillors on their various Areas of Responsibility.    Check no adjustments needed to AoR.
15. Next PC meeting – Monday 12th January 2026.
