I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 12th May 2025 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF                          starting at approx. 7.10 pm.    Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item.  There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.   
 
 
AGENDA
 
 
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40. 
 
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.   Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
3. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 14th April 2025 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (DG)
4. Resolution to co-opt Lyn Boden
5. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached Appendix A
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet (LF) None.
c. Approve the bank reconciliation as at 30.4.25 (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances.  (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet at 30.4.25. (LF) Attached.
f. To approve share of cost of SLCC subscription for Clerk at £80.
g. To approve £15 share of cost of annual laptop clean  up and camera issue.
h. To approve £8.99 for Needle nose pliers.
 
6. AGAR matters:
  1. Resolution to sign the AGAR Annual Governance Statement 2024/2025.
  2. Resolution to sign the AGAR Accounting Statements 2024/2025.
  3. Resolution to agree the Notice of Public Rights dates as 3.6.25 to 14.7.25.
 
 
7. Planning Applications:       25/0459 – retrospective application for siting InPost Parcel Locker at Premier Store,  
     College Road – pending     consideration.                                
8. Report on all road safety and highways matters (DG).  Update on grant application for £1,000 for SID.
9. Discussion regarding PC as custodian trustees of Village Hall and resolution as to way forward.
10. Play area and playing field: Cllr Youle’s report showed no works required.  Sovereign’s half yearly report is imminent.
11. Peterken memorial tree and plaque now in situ and look very nice.
12. Ascent GM’s litter pick – update.
13. To receive reports from Councillors on their various Areas of Responsibility.    
14. Next PC meeting – Monday 9th June 2025.
