Dear Sir / Madam,
I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 2nd November 2026 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF starting at 7 pm. Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm, before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council
on any agenda item. Representatives from Windsock Solar Farm will be at the meeting to update everyone with the latest information with regard to this project. All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests. Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
3. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 5th October 2026 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (AY)
4. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments and receipts made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached Appendix A
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet -Appendix B
c. Approve the bank reconciliations as at 30.10.26 (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances. (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet at 30.10.26. (LF) Attached.
5. Planning Applications:
25/0932 – 28 No dwellings at land off Sycamore Road – pending consideration.
26/0194 – Conversion of stone barns to 6 dwellings at Brauncewell – pending consideration.
26/1217 and 26/1299 – retrospective application for EV charging unit on barn at Brauncewell Lodge.
6. Road safety and highways matters - Monthly report by SD.
7. Report from Cllr Boden on her visit to the Resilience Forum day at The Petwood.
8. Village Hall and Social Club – Update on new Lease for VH and update re their noticeboard. Update on new cellar door for Social Club.
9. Play area and playing field – removal of the bowls club hedge and installation of the new fence, plus pruning of the trees in the car park will take place early December. New benches for playing field – consider preferred options.
10.Bristow Estate – awaiting a transfer plan from Tilia
11.Litter bins for Sleaford Road, Byards Leap and Thorold Avenue green have been ordered and will be delivered to
NKDC Waste team (week commencing 9.11.26) who will install them. The dog poo bin on Flowerdown Avenue/North
Road has a lid that has broken off due to rust. Consider a new dog poo bin to replace it.
12.Directional signage for Bowls Club and Social Club –Update from SD with prices. Babcocks will install.
13.The Cross – insurance claim settled in full - £100 excess returned. Clerk spoke to Skillingtons to chase a survey of The
Cross since it has been hit twice. They will come out asap.
14. Police leaflets – have now been produced but can only be used by the Police.
15. Next PC Meeting 7th December 2026.
