Dear Sir / Madam,
 
I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 13th April 2026 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF                          starting at 7 pm.    Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item.  There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.   
 
AGENDA
 
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40. 
 
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.   Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
 
3. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 16th March 2026 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (AY)
 
4. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments and receipts made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached Appendix A
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet -None.
c. Approve the bank reconciliation as at 31.3.26. (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances.  (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet at 31.3.26. (LF) Attached.
f. To approve the list of regular payments for the year 2026-7. Attached.
 
5. Planning Applications:   
    
25/0932 – 28 No dwellings at land off Sycamore Road – pending consideration.
25/1377 – replacement bungalow at 21 Willow Lane – pending consideration.
25/1536 – Erection of new bungalow and double garage at rear of 20 Willow Lane – pending consideration.
26/0194 – Conversion of stone barns to 6 dwellings at New Homestead Farm, Brauncwell- any objections?
26/0244 – Metering equipment at Land at Sewage Treatment Works, Flowerdown Avenue – pending consideration.
26/0369 -  Oak framed extension at Paling Cottage, Brauncewell – any comments/objections?
6. Road safety and highways matters -    Monthly report by SD.  Discussion and resolution with regard to Village Entrance Gates (SD).  LCC volunteer service will clear some ginnels on 9th June.  
7. Defibrillators – Fulbeck will not contribute to, nor have any ongoing interest in the Byards Leap defibrillator.  Pads okay until 8.5.27.  Resolution as to ongoing interest.
8. Village Hall and Social Club – First draft of Lease received – Clerk raised a number of enquiries – once a response is received it will be circulated to Councillors for comments before being sent to the Village Hall Committee.
9. Village Green Christmas tree –update on preferred lights, and costings (SD).
 
 10.Play area and playing field: update on new equipment (AY).    Update on flickering light at end of footpath near play   
       area.
11.Noticeboard at Bristow Estate – awaiting response from Babcocks as to whether they can help with a new lock and key.
12.Litter bin for Sleaford Road and Byards Leap – update from Cllr Boden. 
13. Fire extinguishers been serviced at The Old School – resolution to pay £34.87 to M-Fire.
14.Next PC meetings –Monday 20th April – Annual Parish meeting.   Monday 11th May AMPC and regular meeting.
