I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 13th January  2025 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF                          starting at 7 pm.    Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item.  There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.   
 
AGENDA
 
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40. Pete
 
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.   Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
 
 
3. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 9th December 2024 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (DG)
 
4. Co-option of Olivia Curtis and signing of her Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
 
5. Appointment of Vice Chair.
 
6. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet. (LF) Attached
c. Approve the bank reconciliation as at 30.11.24 (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances.  (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet. (LF) Attached.
f. Resolve to add Cllrs S Liivet and A Youle as bank signatories.
 
7. Internal Audit requirements:
(a) Resolution to agree retrospective consent from Closed Session meeting held in May with D and J Wilson and Chair,  to continuing employment of L Frances as Clerk.
(b) Resolution to agree Accessibility and Privacy statements on website.
(c) Resolve to accept Data Breach Policy and Risk Management document.
(d) Re-affirmation of General Power of Competence.
8. Planning Applications:  24/0844 and 0845 – RAF Officers mess heating improvements and secondary glazing – approved.  24/0970 – RAF – new fire doors – pending consideration.   24/1089- RAF replacement radiators – approved.
9. Report on all road safety and highways matters subsequent to a meeting with LCC Highways (DG).
10. Public Footpaths 754 and 4: Case progression for 754 to start in new year.  FP4 is ranked 185th out of 559 cases – no date for progression forthcoming.
11. Confirmation of site for Mr Peterken’s memorial tree.
12. Play area: any comments.
13. Carols on the Green – was successful but only half attendees compared to last year. 
14. Facebook – further to resolution to remove PC from Facebook – assistance required for Clerk.
15. To receive reports from Councillors on their various Areas of Responsibility.
