Dear Sir / Madam,
I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 17th March 2025 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF starting at 7 pm. Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item. There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly. All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests. Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
3. Co-option of Javed Bhunnoo.
4. Notes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 13th January 2025 to be approved as Minutes of the Meeting. (DG)
5. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached Appendix A
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet (LF) Attached Appendix A
c. Approve the bank reconciliation as at 28.2.25 (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances. (LF) Attached
e. To review and approve the budgets -v- actual spreadsheet. (LF) Attached.
f. To discuss and agree a resolution to enter into a 3-year contract for 2 SIDs at £199 + VAT per annum (DG)
6. Planning Applications: 24/0970 – RAF – new fire doors – approved. 25/0174 – Conversion of shop to part of dwelling at 1 Willow Lane – pending consideration.
7. VE Day 80th anniversary – 8.5.25. Discuss whether to do anything to mark the event; RAF may include the community but not finalized yet. What are events committee doing?
8. E-mails domain: reminder to Councillors to set up their .gov.uk email addresses, if not already done so.
9. Report on all road safety and highways matters (DG).
10. Play area and playing field: resolution for payment of £880 + VAT for felling and removing bowls club hedge alongside footpath. Discussion and resolution to purchase two new tennis nets canvas/polyester headband and 2.5 mm thick - £60.82, £78 or £87 each + VAT.
11. Facebook –remove Clerk’s newer page.
12. Peterken memorial – awaiting date for installation of tree and plaque.
13. Agree Cllr Curtis be representative on VH Committee – any update from recent VH Committee meeting?
14. To receive reports from Councillors on their various Areas of Responsibility.
15. Agree format for Annual Parish Meeting and who to invite (RAF, Police and LCC – effect of devolution).
16. Next PC meeting – Monday 14th April at 7.00 p.m. (APM 28th April at 6.30 pm).
