Dear Sir / Madam,
I hereby give you notice that the next Ordinary meeting for Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 9th September 2024 at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF starting at 7 pm. Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 pm., before the meeting starts, there will be a public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council on any agenda item. There will also be an opportunity for visiting Representatives to briefly address the assembly. All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.
AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests. Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
3. Notes of the Meetings of the Parish Council held on Monday 8th July and 31st July 2024 to be approved as Minutes of the Meetings. (DW)
4. Co-option of Adam Youle (in his absence).
5. Financial Matters - All Councillors have a continuous opportunity to review everything on the Accounting system.
a. Approve the payments made since the last meeting. (LF) Attached
b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the “Payments to be Authorised” sheet. (LF) Attached
c. Approve the bank reconciliation from the previous two months. (LF) Attached
d. To review the latest Summary of “Reserves” balances. (LF) Attached
e. SSE electricity bills now settled with full and final payment of £48.58.
f. Thomas Dutton – CCJ issued.
g. New water heater purchased – awaiting installation.
h. SR has the work in hand for the painting of the fences and benches (as per his contract).
i. Consider purchasing a litter bin for the alley between Guthram Court and Selvalyn Close. NK should empty it. Cost of new free standing bin Topsy 2000 £138 net, or a dog bin only at £115.
6. Planning Applications: 24/0285 – discharge of some conditions re development at Manor Farm – approved. 24/0584 – Application to vary conditions at land to the rear of 20 Willow Lane – approved. 24/0206 – Screening opinion made for refurbishment of buildings and car parking at RAF Cranwell – Environmental Impact Assessment not required. 24/0934 – Manor Farm application for non-material amendments – prior approval not required.
7. Old School House – confirmation of acceptance of the draft advert for LocalLincs.
8. Pavilion/cabins – cladding ordered and work to commence 8th October. Goods to be stored In Bowls Club area. Cabin Depot contractors coming on 11th/12th September to repair paintwork + French doors and flooring in bowls club cabin.
9. Bowls and Football hire agreements. Signed copies received.
10. Bowls Club groundworks – still awaiting quotes for sand and cement. Still awaiting the spec for a new mower so that we can budget for precept. Fence panels purchased.
11. Report on all road safety matters per DG - we have two new CSW positions at each end of the village approved. These are specifically to monitor vehicles leaving the village.
12. Play area: Sign has been moved.
13. To receive reports from Councillors on their various Areas of Responsibility.
14. Next P.C. meeting: Monday 14th October at 7.00 p.m
