Notice of an Ordinary Meeting of Cranwell, Brauncewell & Byards Leap Parish Council

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 I hereby give you notice that the next ordinary meeting for CranweII, Brauncewell and Byard’s Leap Parish Council will be held on Monday 13 September 2021, at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DF starting at 7:00pm.

Members of the press and public are welcome to attend.

All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7 .00pm there will be a public forum, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.

County Councillor and District Councillor reports will be received at this time prior to the meeting starting.

Agenda

1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.

2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Chairman Interests.  Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.

3. Notes of the ordinary meeting held on Monday 9 August 2021 of Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council to be approved as Minutes.

4. Financial Matters

a. Approve the payments made since the last meeting.

b. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.

c. Approve the bank reconciliation from the previous month.

d. Approve the addition of the new Clerk Kirsty Elson to the banking mandate.

e. Consider the Grant Application from the Parish Church of St. Andrew for tree works required in the church yard.

f. Consider the quotes for the removal of the undergrowth some tree work at the far end of the sports field.

g. Consider quotes to install a new CCTV system to cover the Play area, tennis court, both car parks and social club areas, with provision for cameras to cover the new Pavilion at a later date.

5. Receive a report from the Clerk on matters pertaining to the Parish Council.

6. PIanning Applications.

Received: 21/1072/ Proposed change of use of log cabin in domestic garden to beauty salon — 5 Baghdad Road, Cranwell, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 8HJ.

Determined: 21/1336/TPO T1 Ash.  Rebalance the crown broadIy in line with annotated photographic evidence provided, remove deadwood; T2 Cedar — clear BT cable by 0.5m. — 19 Receive reports from Councillors on their Areas of Responsibility.

7.  Receive reports from councillors on their areas of responsibility.

8. Update on Speed Indication Devices:

a. Installation update.

b. Decide who will be responsible for relocating SIDS to alternative positions, charging batteries, and collecting data.

9. Consider the Risk Assessment for volunteer litter pickers.

10. Update on Litter picking volunteers and who will oversee/co-ordinate them.

11. To consider a new BT contract for the village hall WiFi.

12. Confirm the date of the next meeting.
