Notice of an ordinary meeting of Cranwell, Brauncewell & Byard's Leap Parish Council
Dear Sir / Madam,
I hereby give you notice that an ordinary meeting of Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard’s Leap Parish Council will be held at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, NG34 8DF on Monday 14 September 2020 at 7:00pm. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.
All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

At 7.00pm there will be a public forum, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.
Agenda
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 4
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.
Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
3. Notes of the ordinary meeting of Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard's Leap Parish Council held at Cranwell Village Hall, Old School Lane, NG34 8DF on Thursday 13 August 2020 to be approved as Minutes.
4. Financial Matters
- Approve the payments made since the last meeting.
- Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
- Approve the bank reconciliation from the previous month.
- Volunteers to be an online banking signatory for the Parish Council.
5. Planning Applications.
Nothing new at present.
6. Social Media
- Discuss the new website and establish a working policy for its production and content. Discussion can be based around the “working document” to be produced by Cllr Pears.
- Review and amend, if applicable, the Social Media Policy and Standing Orders
7. Consider the terms of an agreement with Cranwell Parish Social Club with regard to the proposed amendments to Club Premises Certificate 32UE/L2404
8. Review lines of communication within the Parish Council.
9. Consider the way forward for the Sport Hub Committee.
10. Consider the request from Cranwell Junior Football Club for training on a Wednesday evening.
11. Confirm the date of the next meeting.
12. To resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, as amended by Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972, to discuss the following matters;
a. Consider the Co-option applications (if received) to fill the current Council vacancies.
b. New pay scales in relation to the Clerk’s salary, as published by NALC following the National Salary Award for 2020-2021.
