Dear Sir/Madam,                       

I hereby give you notice that an ordinary meeting of Cranwell, Brauncewell and Byard’s Leap Parish Council will be held remotely via Zoom on Thursday 14 January 2021 at 7:00pm.

As the meeting will be held remotely, members of the public and press are welcome to remotely attend and can either join the Zoom Meeting via https://zoom.us/j/99745534357?pwd=WmRZZ3IzRzU2ZjBJMGduUk5lVldyQT09  using Meeting ID: 997 4553 4357 and Passcode: YeY53Y.  You can also request this electronically from the Clerk.  Requests to be received by 6:00pm on Thursday 14 January 2021.

All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Clerk to the Parish Council

At 7.00pm there will be a public forum, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council.  All Parish Councillors are to attend at this time.

Agenda

  1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
  2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.
  3. Disclosure of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.  The need for disclosure is to be based upon agenda items, or at any suitable time during a meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
  4. Notes of the ordinary meeting of the Parish Council held remotely on Monday 14 December 2020 to be approved as Minutes.

  2. Approve the payments made since the last meeting.
  3. Approve the payment of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
  4. Approve the bank reconciliation from the previous month.
  5. Consider the quotes for the Village Green electrics continuation work.
  6. Consider the quotes for the repair/replacement of the Social Club roof.
  7. Consider the quote to replace the heater in the Old School.
  8. Consider and review the draft budget figures in preparation of setting the budget/precept demand in January 2021 for FY 2021-2022.
  1. Planning Applications.

No new planning applications at present – to be updated at the meeting if applicable.

  1. Receive a report from the Clerk on matters pertaining to the Parish Council.
  2. Receive reports from Councillors on their Areas of Responsibility.
  3. Receive a report of behalf of the Cranwell Sports Pavilion Committee and a survey update.
  4. Receive an update from Cllr Bayly as Council representative to a webinar held on Wednesday 13 January 2021 - 7:00-7:30pm, re the 2021 Census, being hosted by the Office of National Statistics.
  5. Meeting dates.
  1. Consider the meeting dates for 2021.
  2. Confirm the next meeting date, currently planned for Monday 8 February 2021.
  1. To resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, as amended by Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972, to discuss the following matters;
    1. Consider the co-option application (if received) to fill the current Council vacancy.
